Winnie Mashaba (born 1 April 1981) is a well-known South African gospel singer, songwriter, TV host, and businesswoman who has won many awards. Winnie has a degree in psychology and a certificate in Adult Basic Education and Training. She was raised by a single parent in a small village in Ga-Sekhukhune, Limpopo, with her seven siblings.

Winnie Mashaba went to Mashupje High School, but she quit soon after finishing Grade 11 in 1998 so she could follow her dream of becoming a gospel singer. After she tried out for Solly Moholo, she got her first big break right away. After the audition, she quickly put out her first album, Exodus 20, which came out in 2000. She has been up for many awards, including a Kora in 2005 for Best African Spiritual Female. The South African Music Awards (SAMA), the South African Gospel Awards, and the Metro FM Music Awards are also given out. In 2010, she won the Crown Gospel Award for Best Female Artist. In 2015, she got a job as the TV host Amahubo on Dumisa.
In November 2019, Trinity International Bible University (TIBU) gave her an Honorary Doctorate for her work in music.
