About the Aspire Leaders Program
Who is it for?
The Aspire Leaders Program is designed for students who come from disadvantaged social and financial backgrounds. To be eligible, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

– Be the first in their family to attend university, with their parents not having completed an undergraduate degree
– Come from a low-income background
– Be between the ages of 18 and 26
– Currently enrolled as undergraduate students or recent graduates
– Alternatively, have been affected by armed conflict and/or a natural disaster

The selection process for the Aspire Leaders Program includes various elimination rounds of interviews. However, every student still receives access to the HBS certified online courses at every round as the minimum. Once they have made it into the program, the course runs as the 2022 cohort.

Applicants can apply for the Aspire Leaders Program by filling out the application form on the program’s website.
If you apply by the Early Action Deadline, you’ll be part of the first group to go through the stages in 2023. You’ll enter Stage 1 in a continuous manner and proceed from there. The Aspire Leaders Program is competitive, so we strongly recommend submitting your application early.

MODULE I: Three Weeks
Personal and Professional Development
This module includes an assessment of your leadership skills based on strengths. You’ll have access to professional development resources co-created with Harvard Business School. These resources cover various areas such as creating a LinkedIn profile, crafting an effective resume, interview tips, and networking advice. You’ll also have opportunities for live interactions with peers from around the world.
MODULE II: Seven Weeks
Aspire Leadership Course: Societal Impact for First-Generation Leaders
This module consists of a six-session leadership development course delivered by esteemed faculty from Harvard University.
There is an additional week dedicated to coursework. Here is a breakdown of the journey:

MODULE III: Two Weeks
This module involves participating in masterclasses led by renowned educators from esteemed universities worldwide. You’ll experience a combination of asynchronous and synchronous learning, fostering connections with a global cohort of peers and mentors.
Once you become an alumni, you’ll join a vibrant community of young leaders, gain access to experienced mentors, and receive valuable seed funding for social impact initiatives.
